  • London Underground game

In the early to mid seventies, I used to play board games all the time with my friend and his father. I am no longer in conact with my friend and his father has passed away. So can anyone help with information about the following?

The board game was essentially a map of the London Underground. You had counters and progressed along the lines. I think you needed to collect certain cards in order to change onto a different line. That's about all I can recall.

Thanks in advance for any help you can give.

click on the link given above for more info on it..."The London Game"

Same principle of a game I played a lot in the 70's (and still have): 'The Great Game of Britain'...you picked a set of destination cards & had to travel around the UK visiting them all before your opponents visited theirs...a double-sided board (one side had steam....GNER, LNER etc, other side had today's 'modern' routes):
