Does anyone remember this oddity?
It was on TV recently.
This film has always been strange, in that it is as scary as any horror, but because there's no bloodshed, it's somehow deemed a family movie and, as such, is always shown in the afternoon.
It's about an American family who move to an England country house, but weird things start happening in the woods around.
This always spooked me.

, I watched it repeatedly when I was little, the music was pure horror movie music. I recently discovered thru youtube that there was an alternate ending where some giant alien creature comes out, it was totally weird, glad they didnt use it.
