In 1979, Voyager released a single called Halfway Hotel. Does anyone else remember this great song. Does anyone know anything about the band!!

i used to work with the lead singer very briefly at Woolworth's in Newbury where i lived, i was a spotty warehouse lad in his first job and at the end of the day, i used to sweep the floor of the shop. He used to work on the record counter and put a record on so we could listen whilst we work. this next bit is a bit fuzzy, but i remember that he used to say something like "one day i will be on top of the pops", then he left there and blow me if he did turn up on top of the pops!! with his band voyager. I only worked there at the same time very briefly but i do remember him. he is called Paul French. Here are a few links that you might like to look at...
