    hey this was cool! everyone we knew watched this! tra la la la la la la!! OMG we all wanted one of those buggy things they drove about in! they were ace! (I wouldnt mind one now!)
    then they`d cut to a cartoon, Arabian Nights I think one of them was,any one help me out here, my memorys struggling.

      great stuff!cheers Kenny! my faves were the 2 on the left on the big pic.
      oh and I remember a little girl used to keep coming in and singing ta-ra-ra-bum-di-hey (god knows if thats how you spell it!) and the banana splits would keep trying to get rid of her.

              slightly scary !

              I liked the show but found some of the psychadelic weirdness pretty disturbing.
              I remember during the show they'd show a clip of 2 blonde twin girls playing guitars saying a weird song, and this would for some reason make the splits go crazy and they'd throw themselves around like they were going mental !
              Weird !

                      They were kool, loved the buggies, even had a model one, was way kool, couple of years got all the figures from poundland for my kids And the cartoon were kool as well, Arabian Knights, I wanted to be Bez 'Size of an elephant.........' how good was he, the 3 Musketeers, and Danger island too, but why are the Splits not out on DVD?
