Oven Ready Chickens... Where did the bag of giblets go?

Used to buy a chicken with a bag of giblets in it, good for making gravy and feeding dog! When the salmonella scare came about we were not allowed to ave em! I say we were being ripped off again!

Bring back the giblets! What say you all? c'mon cooks and economists out there!

once forgot to remove the bag of giblets before cooking ....yuck!!!!!

I remember in the 1981 Only Fools & Horses Xmas special Grandad forgets to remove the bag of giblets, & Adrian Mole's mum also forgets about the bag one Xmas.
