Dundee Biscuits from my school tuck shop

Good day to all of you. been a fan of this site for a while but actually got round to joining today !!

Can i ask if anyone remembers these little biscuit beauties ?? They had thick chocolate on one side with sugar on the back or a shortbread-style biscuit ?? They were about 4 or 5 inches diameter across.

Are they still available from anywhere ??

don't remember then but I remember buying from my school tuck shop packets of crisps that looked like a newspaper.

I remember Dundee Biscuits, my mum used to buy them in packs of 4 or 5? from the local indoor markets at Crewe and Northwich. I used to have too hold them with both hands because they where so big, they used to last quite sometime. But I've not seen them around for years sadly, they were lovely with a cuppa tea.

Yes they were on the back, covered in sugar and had the word "Dundee" on the back as well.

They were delicious !!!!

dont think we had them over here where iam.

it seems these dundee biccies where not available throughout britain.

anyone got a pic of them.

closest we got where the nice ones with sugar.
