    Date: June 4th 1996
    Location: Manchester City Centre
Anybody remember ther news that a bomb had gone off in Manchester City Centre? I could see thr cloud of smoke from my house and also heard the explosion. It's all been rebuilt now and I did some work experience at Marks and Spencder doing the lifts (one of the best I've done).

I remember the news, but I did my time with the IRA in London, in the 80's and 90's.
Heard four bombs go off and felt one, just the edge of the shockwave.
But the one that came nearest to getting me was the Baltic Exchange bomb in April 1992. They parked the van, on a Saturday, exactly where I parked my car on a Sunday (to go to church at St Helen's Bishopsgate)
