  • Who remembers Centennial??

It was aired in the late 70's and was about the settlers of the American West and the trials of their lives in the Colorado town of Centennial. I watched it as a kid with my Mum and it's just fantastic.

Just came back from a trip to the states where I found the entire set on DVD, I need to find a spare 20+ hours to watch it but I can't wait.

What's better is that it hasbn't been released on DVD yet so I have something very special.

Might have to do a backup or two

I remember & loved CENTENNIAL also & had read the novel after the show had got shown on TV - i even bought the Video box set from my trip to the states some years ago....brilliant acting , beautiful locations, fantastic story telling...but i also remembered some of the make-up ( to have some of the actors age ) was a bit overdone, similar to that of ROOTS & various BEST SELLERS presentations!
