Now let me take a stab at when this one came out. I think it was the summer. In 1988!
'Do you remember the summer of '88' was the first line in a funky rap interspersed with 'oww, get the whole wash right'. I'd love to see this again as I loved it then but it just sounds so bad now!

It ties in nicely with my Now 11 tape from the same time that has lots of rappy housey music on it, like Beat Diss by Bomb Da Bass and Rok da House by Beatmasters. I was well into all of that then so that's why the advert must have lodged itself in my brain. Cunning ad men trying to be well kool.
