Ah - got it! It was called "The Flying Fortress" from the "Action" Annual 1978!

As soon as I saw the front cover to that annual something in my mind went "Ping! that seems familiar, I think I had this one".

Well that's one more childhood distant memory made solid again...

Hey guys,

Been looking for years for two stories - the first one I found just today - "Terror Behind the Bamboo Curtain" from the Tornado Annual 1980.

The second I recall was also from a hard-backed boys annual, was a multipart story and involved a castle or fortress, which turned out to be able to fly/hover/move.
That's about all I can remember - anyone know what this was and where it was from?
