I remember those ones, looked just black ink but once you wetted your hand or arm, thE colours would show. Too much water and you ended up with a messy splotches of colour
our newsagent used to also get them in an a4 sheet size for a couple of pence but they never looked as good as the ones in the above photoLast edited by Semi42; 06-10-2020, 14:00.

Cookie is probably thinking of stick on transfer tattoos, the ones I remember came in a packet with some gum. They stuck quite well & normally needed a good soak to wash them off.

What was the name of the tattoos us kids use to buy from the shops in a packet? we used to wet the back of out hand put on the square white paper and watch the ink turn a different colour as it put a picture on your hand? anyone remember what they were called?Tags: None
