    Even Mk3 Escorts from the early 1980s are selling for thousands now. In the early 2000s you couldn't even give them away.

    I used to trade cars in the early 90s and remember giving a lad £50 trade in for his wreck of a (genuine) Mexico against a car he bought off me.
    I then rang the scrappers and they dragged it away. If only you could go back and put some away for the future.

    i remember my uncle having one of these when i was about 12 years old. it had the 2.3 engine in it.

    Yeah - FF has two vents in the front wing, Interceptor has one.
    FF is physically longer too but you can't spot it as easily.

    In the back of one of those picks I think there's a Triumph Acclaim!
    One thing that irks me a little is that how many classics are restored as race or rally cars or customised somehow. There appears to be few of what I would call 'driveway' cars.

    I know it's not a car... Scammell Routeman.
