To be honest I came to this site with a vested interest in seeking out some views, but now I'm thinking a little deeper than that. Let me explain:
I'm just an 'any-other-Joe' of an artist who searched the Internet for YEARS to find the 1970's-80's artist Sara Moon - anywhere! Virtually nothing - anywhere. The story of how I eventually found 'Sara Moon' and became good friends with the artist is too long a story for this post, suffice to say here that since then, I have made it my mission to keep these often quite amazing works alive in our hearts and minds - so - do you remember Sara Moon? And, what memories do these images hold for you if you do?
And so to that 'deeper' motive, born of my visit here. I'm amazed that there isn't a section specialising in art (and photography) of this era - all those wonderful 'Athena' and Verkerke posters that touched our lives! It's got to be worth a thought, surely?
