I'll be deeply disappointed if one of the fast food restaurants doesn't do a meal called "Apocalypse Chow!" around those dates. Maybe have the free little toy that comes with the kids meals be a recreation of a G.E.C.Ks unit.

Who cares. If its going to happen, it will. Theres nothing we can do about it. Everything in life is cyclical anyhow, so its sage to consider that our time on the planet will eventually also end. Look at the Dinosaurs, they ruled the Earth for 350 MILLION YEARS! Whether it happens on the fabled 21st of December 2012 it will eventually occur, if not in our collective lifetimes but one day...Sometimes I reckon it should end, we are as a race some of the worst things on the planet - predominantly so destructive, conniving, racist, prejudiced, warmongering etc...destroying the natural beauty of the world...so, eventually it will come....until then I'll contend with my lot, look after myself and try and better my life and the world around me.
