There were a lot of history-making events happening in the 1960s - Neil Armstrong setting foot on the moon in 1969; Yuri Gagarin setting foot in space in 1961 (and sadly killed in a plane crash in 1968); as well as Telstar in 1962.

No coincidence that Tomorrow's World started in that decade as well.

The Beatles film Hard Days Night was released in July 1964

The beatles did three films, hard days night was the best one, they also did Help and Magical mystery tour, there was a animated film of yellow submarine
