    Get a smart meter. It may entice you to use the clothes line in the garden. Free energy to dry the clothes.

    We had washing lines at home in the back garden until the tumble dryer came along! No more taking them off the pegs when it starts to rain...

    Gone back to the old traditional washing line,I found the rotary line was getting in the way so we got rid of it and now that it is another sun trap sitting area pleased with that
