H.R Pufnstuf was a children's TV show originally broadcast in the United States from 1969 to 1971. H.R Pufnstuf was the mayor of Living Island, which one day had a boy wash up onto the island called Jimmy. Jimmy had a magic flute called Freddie which talked and was hunted by the witch "Witchiepoo". Everything talked on the island from trees to mushrooms.
