Breakfast was great in the 80s with collectable toys in the Cornflakes. My favourites were characters from the Willow movie (you always got about 3 of the one you never wanted), the real floating submarines (insert baking soda to work) and a model Spitfire for the Battle of Britain anniversary (only if you collected enough tokens tough).Kellogg's started adding collectibles into their cereal as a marketing tool and a way of enticing children to their brand. Kellogg's collectibles have ranged from intricate metal car models to mini Sesame Street beanbags and Tony the Tiger plush toys.
