Porky's was another American 'coming of age' movie from 1982, notable in my youth as one of the few slightly risqué films that teenage boys could actually borrow from the local video rental shop (see also; National Lampoon's Animal House. Porky's features a young Kim Cattrall as the junior games mistress, Ms. Honeywell, otherwise known as Lassie for reasons that can't be explained here.The film was banned in several countries including Ireland and Singapore but was given the go ahead in the UK with an X rating and an R rating in the US for the frequent and explicit sexual content. It's infamy helped propel the film to great success in Canada where it is still (at the time of writing) the highest grossing film of all time.Two follow up films were made: 'Porky's II: The Next Day' and 'Porky's Revenge'.
