Being a big reggae fan, I can tell you with an amount of authority that there's more to Dave and Ansil Collins than their 1971 evergreen hit "Double Barrel". They also had a steady stream of not-so-famous songs that have become reggae standards and have set the the standard. "Monkey Spanner", "Stalag 17" and "Big Tree" being just a few of them.This duo came from Jamaica along with many other musical gems of the era. Ansil Collins later became a top session keyboard player and Dave Barker performed with many top soul bands.Did you know that "Double Barrel" was the first recording that Sly Dunbar ever drummed on?
