That 1 the late David Bowie did with the also longdearted Bing Crosby ... Piece On Earth/Little Drummer Boy was amazing and i adore that video

The harmonising is beyond sensational - Singing two songs 2gether at once in tune without it sounding daft/or out of tune takes something

To think too Bing only recorded that song a month before his passing too - was equaly amazing a fete , added to the faith he obviously had in David and v versa to create such a hit!! That shows what we always knew about David as a great Singer of many talents - as not many can harmonise to that degree 1 bit I think (as well as that 2 seperate songs are sung together) as was the case for Bing and David!

Yeh true George mate ... which is why 1 Day i wanna go to America (idealy at Xmas) and have a Fairytale Of New York playing as you fly in over Pearl Harbour in New York ... that'd just be the best ever , consideringthe lyrics they've got Cars big as Bar's", and "the wind goes right through you it's no place for the Old and "Sinatra was swinging, all the drunks they were singing"!!

I have always liked the lyric: "look to the future now, it's only just begun" on Slade's Merry Xmas Everybody - it always feels like optimism for the year ahead as we end one year and start another, and that is why I chose that one first.
