Do you remember this "toy"? It was a set of 2 radio transceivers with a range of about 10 meters ( maybe a little more ). I had one of these when i was a kid.

Now im thinking, isnt it a bit strange that they allowed toys like those to exist? I believe someone with adequate knowledge on radios etc can modify a toy set like that to hear police transmitions etc ( at least maybe that was possible in the 70s or 80s - today police and military radios are far more advanced )
