I had a doll I loved and I was just wondering if it was widely available or a one off thing. What was most notable was its size - I'd say at least three feet tall or more. It had a skinny body and long arms and legs all made of a soft white nylon-type material. The head was big like a squashed football, also made of the same material and had yellow wool for hair. The face was painted on. It had big blue eyes like Betty Boop, no nose, freckles and a tiny rose bud mouth. It came with a dress and head shawl that had a purple/blue pattern like patchwork with white frilly bits. The boots were an extention of the legs, made of the same material but navy blue and with little pearl buttons stitched on the front. There was a manufacturer's label on it with the name 'Olga' and my mum said it was meant to be a little Russian girl. Can anyone remember anything like this or more about it?
