lk_ie can you give me some miore info on the show youre after?

Just a big hairy grey monster with no legs, 3 arms, that hung from the ceiling, it was a big puppet like spitting image etc. I think it might be called "Erasmus" or similar.

I clicked on this thinking that it might be the series I was after, sadly not, but thanks for the info and the clip. The series I am after has a grey, three armed(and no legs) monster hanging from the ceiling, and was on channel 4 in the late 80's.

This was a creepy kids book by Patricia Wrightson about creatures from Australian folklore. The titula Nargun is a living rock that eats flesh. The book had one of the most usettling prolouges ever. It was on Jakonory circa 1975.

There was a live action series made in Australia in 1980. I dont think it was shown over here. Has anyone seen it or does anyone know how to get a copy?
