Sorry I really don't have much to go on here but I'll try describe it the best I can.
1) I think they were 'one off' type animations. By that I mean this wasn't a tv series of any kind.
2) The colour scheme of the cartoons was REALLY basic. The background would usually just be a solid colour (purple and pink seems to be the colours I remember the most) and the actual animated stuff was just black lines (none of it was coloured in , not even grayscales tones either). So what you're looking at is essentially black line animation against a strongly contrasting background colour.
3) I don't think there was any dialogue in the cartoons and I get the vague idea they were made somewhere in continental Europe.
4) I can't even remember what the stories were about but I get the impression they were all simply based around action and "capers" rather than having any traditional sort of narrative to them.
5) I get the impression it was a only used as a "filler" cartoon at the time I would have watched them in the mid 1980's (ie they'd stick it on at the end of the days childrens tv in order to realign the schedule times). It was certainly bottom of the barrel stuff in terms of favourie in my house so there nothing impressive about these cartoon.s
6) I'd presume they weren't made in the 80's as they had that sort of "groovy" jazz type vibe to them which would make me suspect they probably date from the 50s-60s.
Anyway, it's not much to work on but maybe that will ring a bell for someone and they'll be able to tell me what this collection was. Thanks.
