I remember the show very well. I preferred it to the earlier Gentle Touch, but the more action-orientated Dempsey & Makepeace from around the same time was more to my liking at the time.

I just really loved the show ok not as good as the gentle touch for me but still pretty good.
I normally find spin offs from shows not to be as good as the show it was a spin off of.

i remember this show. It was a pretty cheesy program but i watched it because i had a massive crush on rosalyn landor. Funny but i didn't remember leslie ash being in it. Crazy how your memory just loses things.

back in those days whilst in my early 20`s i had a big crush on jill gascoinge. i met her once and it was one of those real why now moments......
i worked at a school and for some reason she was invited to come and open a new annex that had been built..
the day she came was a morning after the night before type one if you know what i mean it had been a mates birthday and we had all gone out for a drink (or 20) and in a typical mans way followed the drinking session with a visit to the local indian restaurant so as you might expect 20 pints of lager followed by a vindaloo spells trouble for the toiletry needs next day . so im at work..... suddenly i need to go to the toilet . i wont go into details but if you frequent the partaking of libation and the culinary skills of an indian kitchen you will have a basic idea,anyway ive finished what i had to do ,washed my hands left the toilet there in front of me about to use the staff lavatory is the woman of my dreams we exchange a smile i say excuse me and we pass my lasting memory of her now is that wrinkerling of the nose her face going green and a look of "what the hell died in there"

I remember an episode where one of them is drugged and hallucinating and has to type an SOS onto a computer.

That's all I can remember from the series. Weird how the odd moment from these programs sticks in your head for 20+years.

C.a.t.s. eyes ran from 12th of april 1985 until 6th of june 1987.
there where 3 series consisting of 30 episodes in total.
C.A.T.S. Eyes was shown on Friday nights in the uk for its first series.

It was a ratings hit in the uk, regularly being in the top 20 throughout its run.

c.a.t.s. eyes was a spinoff of The Gentle Touch and saw Jill Gascoine reprise her role as Detective. Inspector. Maggie Forbes, after leaving the police force to join a private detective agency called Eyes that is actually a front for a Home Office team called C.A.T.S. Covert Activities Thames Section.
