Birds of a Feather was a BBC series about two sisters Tracy & Sharon (played by Linda Robson & Pauline Quirke respectively) whose husbands are arrested for robbery to which the are sentenced to twelve years custody
Their neighbour Dorien Green played by Leslie Joseph often came into Tracy's house uninvited. Dorien is married but plays the field
One memorable episode Sharon enters a karaoke competition at the local pub. When Sharon's turn to sing comes she bottles out being sick in the toilet. So Dorien takes Sharon's place and sings Maddona's Like a Virgin which of course Dorien is far from it. Dorien wins the first prize but says to Sharon & Tracy she is not having her planned boob job after all but is going on an expensive holiday with the money she saved. Sharon asks why not have the free holiday to which Dorien answers "On a budget holiday with the likes of you Sharon? You have it" Dorien leaves and Sharon and Treacy says "yes yes yes!!" lol
