    Either a one-off or a two parter ---

O K, What I remember is there was these like New Age traveller types having furtive meetings with city gents. They planned out a big blag on some government finance thing ( EEC funds? )
Came the night before, they broke into some local council office and got in the PC and uploaded a program.
Next day it showed various ministers/officials logging on up and down the country and they all had the same message on their screens ( green on orange background!) about Icelandic gunboats sinking British trawlers so what did they want to do?

Most just muttered to themselves and deleted but one girl in the MAFF (now DEFRA) typed in ‘declare war’ – this unleashed the Trojan and it then showed rows of figures scrolling down all the screens across the country.
The high level ministers realised it was a viral attack and got their top IT to counter it , he spent a few minutes running from server to server and shouting out eighties techno-jargon about dog tapes blah blah.
While this was going on it kept showing our hackers furiously typing out loads of script to keep the countermeasure people out of the systems.

The ministers watched in appalled dismay as they saw all the funds disappear--- it turned out at the end that the top IT guy was actually in league with the robbers.

I think there was some like eighties pop singer in this drama.. Anyone know what it was?
