  • Only trouble with Cords was they invarably shrank in the Wash Daz mate - though I don't know if Washing Machine's 2day can over-ride that

    In my Town Greenwoods was for years and years the "to go place" for them followed by M & S, though i don't know how they survive...

  • I have too many that are my faves to be honest - Button Down Colar Shirts, Long Sleeved Polos, even that mix of a Shell and Tracksuit Type thing that arrived late 80s to early 90s

    I think my biggest one though (including the James Dean look as mentioned above) was Paul Weller polourising...

  • Hmm A~senal and Sheff Wed played each other in both Cup Finals (namely the Leauge and FA Cuo) in 93 - though you was probably talking 44 to 6 weeks (but that is'nt much in the grand scheme of things .... but still, it's there I guess)

  • True George - I guess these 2 subjects could have cross-overs (and yep I recall in the late 90s when I volunteered for an Youth services) I knew of a Local guy involved with the Agency who was making his way as an extra and did similar in-School work and Shows etc to benefit the Students!!...

    Not to School itself, George mate .... but look at what the 3rd Years did in Grange Hill in 1987 when they deliberatly went against the School Handbook and wore White Skirts for Cricket that was meant to be Shirts instead

    Though Re;, Scotland I really thought Tartan Skirts was popular as...

    I would never burn any of mine tbh - even though it was a Symbol of all the abuse I suffered through bullying (at least with the Tie) we had "way to express ourselves", which many Kids can not have 2day due to pC Culture and inventing/enforcing Clip-Ons as the norm more often than not....
