    Indeed RIP Des 'Connor - I think it would be fair to catergorise Des as one of the last great all round entertainers who had'nt got the filth/Blue-ness of later generations. eluded to being a great entertainer, Des could sing quite decently - though Morecambe and wise often made out otherwise...

  • Od course it was the Prsents and Toys etc, but my memories of Xmas Childhoods in the main is the Telly:, Roland Rat etc in the 80s on his adventures and other progs like Duppledown Farm -- when Xmas Kids Telly went on all Morning , like Sat and Sun Kids Telly used to ... sadly we'll never have those...

    No ... i don't think we did but Drinks Machines etc yes we did and we had the Army Cadets based in my 2nd Secondary with a Rifle Range we used in Activities Week in Year 9 (3rd year) which we found rather cool and in when given "said produced booklet"...

    This is true George and it is similar with Neighbours too (or it was Re; Jeans) being worn!

    Though I think that this was a trend in Australia in the 90s as too Black Skinny Jeans here can look almost intendical to Trousers...
