Colargol was a French stop-motion animated bear. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Colargol
In England he was Barnaby and in Canada he was Jeremy. I have a few picture cards from the show I found on eBay.
Sooty was/is another tv bear, but a hand puppet. Have gotten some vintage...Last edited by beccabear67; 1 week ago.

Always curious to read about things televisual from before my time. Even bought a two disc Muffin The Mule DVD set once. Now with Youtube you can check out a lot of old tv easily.
I just associated Toytown with Noddy and figured it was down the road from Hattytown.

A visit to the dentist.
Have been going through fillings, stitches and one dry socket lately. Thinking of how things have changed... no television on the ceilings back in the day!
Probably mostly bad memories, but you have to take the bitter with the sweet, and there are some things about it I like to remember....Last edited by beccabear67; 4 weeks ago.

The first music I heard that was called 'punk' was Stranded by Australia's The Saints. Before that it was something you read about, or would see a band name spray-paint stenciled on something, which is where I saw The Sex Pistols name first knowing nothing about them/it.
Australia with...Last edited by beccabear67; 4 weeks ago.

I first 'logged on' via an external stand-alone modem you hung the telephone receiver onto. This was circa 1982-83 and both times some kind of Commodore PC... either Vic-20 or 64. One was at school, when they had just one for the whole school. This was in western Canada.
The internet was...Last edited by beccabear67; 4 weeks ago.
