  • 'Get Some In'?

    Hi guys...

Thats just brought back memories about another show I used to watch when a wee boy in the 1970's, think it was a comedy Drama show, 'Get Some In' about National Service in the R.A.F.? (possibly!) my gran thought it was funny...so did I at the time I think..sure I also used to watch this every week and being obsessed by war, warfare, toy soldiers and Action Man I loved it..lol..Anyone else remember this show?

    all the best...

    Oh yes, class tv.
Had Robert Lindsay in it and Tony Selby as the sergeant (or corporal)

Shame they dont do reruns of them on tv.

Recently had citizen smith on uk gold.. Still funny

Although I like only fools, I am sick of them being repeated every day on sky. Lets have some of the oldies for a change.

Yep Get some In was a laff, Robert Lindsay is kool anyhow from Wolfie Smith to My family, think his character was replaced or changed to Karl Howman? The guy from the Flash adverts now and Brush Strokes another sitcom.

I deffo remember Get Some In, and how Corporal Marsh (Tony Selby) spelt his surname, B A S T * * D! I think this started in 1976 on ITV along with a numbr of other sit coms, one I remember is Backs to the Land about a few land girls - also very funny.
            Just who was Soft Mick?

              Re: 'Get Some In'?

I remember this sitcom so well, the episode that sticks in my mind is the one about a severed hand, as I remember it Robert Lyndsay had to cut a hole out of one end of a shoe box and stick his hand in the box to show Tony (corporal) Selby that they had not lost the several hand, as a little kid this was a great trisk I would pull on my relatives when they come to visit.... ah what happy memories
