    Welsh cakes are delicious,my english relatives cannot buy them in England,so when they visit Wales they stock up on supplies

    welsh cakes/cookies as we call them. We still make them by the tub full. Easy to make and quick to cook on a hotplate. And they disappear even quicker if you don't keep your eyes on them.
    Nice as they are or with butter or Jam on them. Some made with raisins some plain, some spiced up with ginger or cinnamon.
    The shop brought ones from the supermarkets taste full of preservatives and soda for some reason. They are also expensive for 4 or 5 welsh cakes.

      Fresh from market stalls but as you said one can turn into 3 or 4 if not careful
