  • Chinese Judge TV series

    OK then,

I've been on-line tryng to find this and even remember what it was called..
    JUDGE DREAD

Not the reggae singer with suggestive lyrics and not the lawman of the future ( I know that was DREDD but whatever )

This was a very early seventies series set in like Ming Dynasty China.

He was judge, jury and executioner for the Emperor and went from peasant village to big city dispensing his own brand of justice along the way , every time he gave his verdict and pronOunced the death sentence a gong chimed ( just like the start of a Rank film )

As I said I can't find a reference to it so can anyone please help?

Always thought he was much more entertaining than that annoying little git who used to come on 'That's Life' and then release so-called comedy records
