The Summer....
Glad I'm not the only one who doesn't like Dad's Army.
I mentioned it on another board once and you wouldn't believe the grief I got!
I preferred Rising Damp to Porridge but he was great in both you're right:)
The only one I could find that had similar lyrics was this:
Reba McEntire 'Indelibly Blue'
Lost in the city
Deserted and cold
Watching the cars passing by
There all going places
Loved Richard Beckinsale, so sad he died so young.
A few people have said he always seemed to play the same kind of character, but it made no odds to me, I still loved watching him.
Has anyone watched the new version??
Must admit I caught it by chance and although I loved Roy Walker it's not bad viewing if there's nothing else on.
This will probably get me deported, but.....I hate this and Dad's Army:eek:
I just find it too bleak, I've watched it a few times and didn't laugh once (sorry to any fans:o).
I buy stuff off ebay sometimes and I dread it when the seller insists on sending the item by recorded delivery as it means that unless I get very lucky (ie; it arrives on a Saturday and I happen to...
I like Nik Kershaw.
I've got this one on my MP3 player at the moment

I used to hate Going For Gold!
The buzzers never seemed to work and the European contestants always seemed to get questions about British subjects that they had little knowledge about.
The...

Love Challenge!
The ones you mentioned are my favourites too, especially Bullseye.
Bullseye seems to be very popular according to BARB, but I'm surprised Who Wants To Be A Millionaire is - am I...
We can't win with the weather can we?
It's either freezing cold or warm but rainy:rolleyes:
These last 18 months or so have been horrid, we must have had three weeks of decent weather (at best).
I got soaked good and proper the last time we had snow, a bus went past and splashed a load of slush all over me! It was a Monday morning too, was not amused:mad:
Another problem I've been having...
Am I the only person who finds walking anywhere very difficult these days because:
1. There is dog poo everywhere.
2. There is spit everywhere.
3. Cyclists use pavements instead of the road.
4....
It does a bit yes!
The Kick Off Match theme tune was way better I think.
:DJust about Darren!
I'm surprised it wasn't spotted though as it's been shown a few times. Now I know why they make them wear long shorts;)
Did anyone else see 'The Kick Off Match' (which is on instead on The Big Match Revisited sometimes) this morning?
It was a game between Sunderland and Wrexham from 1978 or 1979 and I couldn't...
Sure does!
I've found the answer, apparently it is a glitch and I need to use compatibility view here.
Don't you just love 'improvements'!
No you're right Blue Peter was more middle class I think.
I always found it boring to be honest, but I didn't bother with Magpie either - loved the theme tune though.
I've just updated to IE10 (well I had no choice it downloaded without asking!) and I can't use my 'enter' key on this site anymore? So I'm unable to leave any spaces between paragraphs. It's only on...
I always thought The Red Hand Gang was Canadian but looking on Wiki I notice it was American.
I liked that and did like The Littlest Hobo, but like many others the theme tune has stayed with me...

Hmmm, no video but nice song!
