    Re: FA Cup Finals

My earliest memory of a cup final was Spurs v Man City, 1981.

The only consolation for us that season was that we beat Man Utd 3-2 in our home fixture...

I found this photo in my archives, going back to the 70s or early 80s - we're waiting to board the hovercraft:

This might sound like an anorak question, but were there two versions of the Dracula lolly? I seem to remember it being black with a red centre, not red like in the picture above.

    That's funny!!!!

My most embarrassing moment happened when I was cut up and tooted at by a mad driver on a roundabout, and my reaction was of the two-fingered variety (with appropriate verbal...

Good Morning with Anne and Nick was a terrible programme, they were always trying to be funny and it was all very twee.

Reading this thread has been such a revelation! How I remember most of these toys, and to think I gave most of mine away when they would probably be worth a fortune now!

    Re: which comic?

I was a Beano fan, it was the only comic I would buy religiously every week, maybe with the occasional Buster (wasn't one of the characters x-ray specs??)
I used to like Look-In too.

Re: What car did you learn to drive in?

That's an old 323 - I took my driving test in a later model one in 1987.

I also learnt to drive in a Nova as well as an old Morris Ital (drive that and you can drive anything!!!!)
