    Re: First video game console?

I've long been tempted to get myself a Raspberry Pi and get some retro gaming going.

I love the clown and the 2 guys to the right - can you imagine being stuck in a lift with any of them?

I believe the lightguns were extras - never had those!

    Re: Broadsword calling Danny boy

I suppose when you think of Burton's fellow actors in the film most of the performances are fairly wooden.

It just goes to highlight what a fantastic job he did. Of course the story and...

Absolutely agree - fantastic film. I've seen it way too many times but will still watch it again when it's on.

    Wattoo Wattoo

    Anyone else remember this one?

Just remember it being really weird and 'foreign' and making no sense whatsoever! - it just popped back into my head for some reason.

Sounds a bit like the plot to Death Race

    Re: Brit Sitcom Game.

I know that show but can't remember the name - chap in the middle is English teacher to a whole multitude of sterotypes. I won't cheat and look it up but it's going to bug me until someone gets it...

Is that The Man in the White Suit? - been a while since I saw it, but agreed it's a classic (if we're talking about the same thing!)

Re: A New Carry On or Not?

They did have Robin Hood: Men in Tights of course - which I've seen but was so good I can't remember a thing about it!

Carry On was a great series and I'll watch most of them again when they are...

Just spotted 'The Narrow Margin' at 00:25 - put me down for that, great film.

Remade with Gene Hackman in the 90s, but the original is best.

I stand corrected! - not sure I recall this one either, but it seems to have run between 'Horror of Fang Rock' and 'Image of the Fendhal', both of which I remember very fondly.

Agreed! - it's much better without the 'celebs', but there's so little atmosphere I'm surprised they don't all asphyxiate.
