    We had one of those very little b&w tv's - surprised we didnt have to wear glasses. I think we were one of the first in the street to have a tv - we were very popular

    Also thought today - Merry Maid's - they were chocolate covered caramels with a shiny wrapper with a maid on - not sure if you can still get them.

    I used to love "Mivvi" not sure whether you can still get them. They had sort of a soft creamy filling with a fruity outside.

    Had quite a few of these. They were a nuisance when you had to put the plastic covers over when it was wet or cold and the boys used to try and pull them off as your were trying so hard to put them...

    some one in our class - shall remain nameless - taped the phone to the ceiling - so when it rang (usually from the school office) the teacher looked really puzzled and couldnt see the phone above her...

    Rosie & Jim from Cockleshell Bay and Ben Gun the seagull. Me and my boys loved the tv and the books - we still have a set which I bought from M&S.

    Were these the size you could buy from the slot machines (remember there was a machine outside our sweet shop (when the shops closed on Sundays).
