Not heard of a Plain Six. Is that like a Bar Six?

Yes, a Plain Six was a Bar Six made of plain choc.

Wow I used to love T-Bars! Really lush!

          I do miss Buttersnap too.

Squirrel mentioned 'Black Jacks' a few days ago, and I could stand no more, so I've just run out into the Welsh rain to buy some! Still made by Barrett's, their wrapper is plain black now, save for the Barrett's logo and product name sprawled across the middle.

While I was being eight years old again in the shop just now, I bought some pink shrimps, an Anglo 'Bubbly', some Spider-man sweet cigarettes, a large cola bottle, some red bootlaces and a pack of Fizz-Wiz popping candy. The guy in the shop had some sweet tobacco, too, but sadly not 'Spanish Gold' in the waxed packets (he had some loose stuff).

The Black Jacks are lovely. I'm saving the Bubbly for a special treat!

That was one of my favourite old ads.
I wish I could find it online.
