    WOW: February 12 – March 4 1978 ABBA - Take A Chance On Me

    I was born on March 1st 1978 and am very happy such a great song was NO.1 when I was born!!!! My Mum loved ABBA, so do I!

                      I was born on 5th May 1969- No.1 then was 'Get Back' by The Beatles. It had already been there for nearly a fortnight, and stayed there for a further incredible 4 weeks before being knocked off the top slot by Tommy Roe's 'Dizzy' on 4th June.

                          Mine was David Soul's Don't Give Up On Us Baby. I met him about ten years ago and told him this - and made him sign my Starsky & Hutch video. Got a photo taken with him as well. No wonder he looked scared...

                              Portadown? Nice to meet a fellow Northern Irelander! The photo's in my parents house - I'll have to see if I can get it scanned in and post it up. I look completely star-struck and he looks terrified.
