    Re: One thing you miss

Soaps ending the episode on a dramatic note ... rather than the nonsense nowadays where they tell you the storyline in advance through to shows and media and even show highlights of up coming episodes .

    Where's the drama ???

It's a good thing I don't watch the soap, but I don't read the celebrity gossip mags either.

I miss those multi-episode Dr. Who stories. I may be in a small minority but I just don't like the new-style productions.

Fry's mint creams are about the closest to Pyramints, apart from eating a lot of After Eights.

Yes, I used to watch this religiously when I was growing up. Tom Baker was my favourite Doctor Who, John Pertwee being my second favourite. Always enjoyed the cliffhanger.

                    Must agree with you there.

stories ranged from 7 parters to two parters and had cliffhangers which i miss.

                    mind of evil 6 parter.

                    the daemons 5 parter

dr who and the silurians 7 parter.

Agreed on both the multi-part episodes being better and the choice of Drs.

True yeah but Neighbours have been doing that for about 20 Years plus now and thankfully in the UK (the main ones have'nt hit such heights yet)

Individual shops/Curiosity/old Charity Shops/Good Car Boot and Markets (since E-Bay wrecked a lot of them)
