far prefer italian football than english its slower about possession.
the english could learn a lot.

It used to be on onm a Sunddy Morning (quitew near world sport) in the time-slot given if my memory serves me correct

This was when Sunday Mornings meant amaazingly good telly - in the very early to mid 90s .... then of course the Italian Football match often commenced in later years in the afternoon ( i am unmsure if it was C4 or C5) though

What memories this all (in-particular the Italian MNatch) brings back of being at my Grand-parents watching this with my dearly departed Grandad - both of us "conked out" after Sunday Lunch with it on but us both 90% a-sleep

I've heard Channel 4 managed to get the rights for the Italian football matches very cheaply so it was a real money spinner for a few years.

The changed the colours of their logo to red, white & green specially for it.

Oh yes, used to love this! It got popular because Gazza signed for Lazio. Then he got crocked and didn't appear for ages!

I remember non-Prem footie was shown as well!

David Platt & a few other Home Nation players were with Italian clubs in the 1990s.
