They were quite big in the 70's Darren, I think this was their biggest hit http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xVYxKRXDT2I

Just looking at poor Brian Connolly's New Year Resolution. Smoking cigarettes was the least of his worries! I remember seeing a documentary with footage shot shortly before he died. He was a tragic wreck.

Saw Sweet c1974. Chaotic gig, very late on stage and footage of strippers eating bananas in a very suggestive way wasn't too appropriate for an audience of mainly 13/14 year old girls. They were a lot of fun though

I don't recognise half of these people, just goes to show how fickle the finger of fame is and how quickly stars drop off the radar! Who was Brian Connolly and when did he die? Roger Taylor looks quite cute in his heyday.

Brian Connolly was the pretty boy blond lead singer with Sweet http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BgrYf...eature=related

Here he is @ 1:50 having survived several heart attacks and alcohol related problems http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=x-HTv...eature=related

                  He died in 1997.

The Chi-lites were another favourite 70s group of mine.
                      Their greatest hits include :-

                      Have You Seen Her
                      Homely Girl
                      Too Good To Be Forgotten
                      You Don't Have To Go
                      Oh Girl
