      Re: Junior Choice

I remember Toni Arthur from Play Away also hosting it for a while. I didn't send requests in. But I still like some of the novelty and bubblegum songs today like:

      Co-Co
Nellie The Elephant (anyone remember The Toy Doll's version of it? Hilarious!)
      Lily The Pink
      Ying Tong Song
      Long Haired Lover From Liverpool
      Monster Mash

You don't anyone daring the write songs like that these days.

A few modern songs that kids ought to learn are:

      Heathen Dan - "I Like"
      "Dead Puppies"
The Vaughans - "Who F.arted?" (it was a hit in 1995)
      Technohead - "I Wanna Be A Hippie"
      Mr. Blobby - "Mr. Blobby"
Barnes & Barnes - "Fish Heads" (hilarious song, and the video clip is even funnier)
The Business - "Drinking And Driving Is So Much Fun"

      (laughs evilly)
