'Willy's' 80's sausage/rude toys collection.. Do u remember?

When I was younger I had a toy which was what I thought was a sausage man! It was about 7" long. They were sold at seaside shops cuz we were on holiday one year and I really wanted one. They hung from a loop at the top and I remember racks and racks of them, all different characters and outfits they were so cute.
Well my mom refused to buy me one?!.. but after probably moaning about it she finally gave in and bought me a 'sausage man!'. I chose a 'Super Willy', he had a smiley face, wore a red cape and had a big red S on his top. It was so cool!
Well I later realised why mom was so embarrassed.. it was a willy!
Does anyone know what the hell I'm banging on about, or remember having one?
It would be great to find out who made them and to find out more about the collection.
Hopefully Ill get some light shed and cheers for reading x

Anyway, back to your question. It wasn't anything to do with the "Wicked Willy" series of cartoon books was it? My friend who works for the local council had a sponge foam one on her desk, it had features, eyes, nose, and the idea being you pushed him flat to the desk and he slowly restored his previous standing form!?

Anyway, hope you get some answers for you (ahem!) unique and hilarious Toy!

He he I knew I'd get a few laughs but tis true!
Anyway thanks for your imput but nah it was a plush toy, think they were to hang in your car etc. They were bloody everywhere in loads of shops, as I've said seaside shops and card shops. There was loads of different ones, each with a different name ie '.......... Willy'. No arms or legs just one long ahem.. sausage (girth about an inch diameter! :-D

We had a willy soft toy with a face on it and it had a pull string that made it vibrate.............No, it wasn't THAT sort of toy lol

He he thanks but no it was definately from a normal shop and didn't vibrate (we're talking 80's ere!).. jeez dya think my Mom would have took me in porn shop and bought me a vibrating willy!! Lol!!! Nah it was all very innocent!
I may shed a bit a light on the situation ere cuz my Niece went caravanning in Wales a few years ago. Wen she came back she'd bought these 'Beans'!.. one for her ('Princess Bean'), one for my bro ('Father Bean') and I got 'Cool Bean'! Same kinda thing really.. little plush toys that are all different characters, same kinda smiley face and bought from a seaside shop. Can't say I remember any 'willy' toys. About the rudest we got in the '70s was one of those dolls where you filled it with water and when you pulled its shorts down it took a leak. Or a pen with a pic of a girl on the side that would strip down to a bikini when you tipped it up.

A 'cool' Auntie bought me the Wicked Willy board game when I was about 16 or 17 in 1986 or 87 (must swiftly add that I never asked for it). There was a fair bit of Wicked Willy stuff about. I suppose it was marketed much like those character turd ornaments you see in gift shops and (for some reason) our local garden centre today.

The Wicked Willy board game was tripe. We eventually tried to play it and the game mechanics were simply terrible. It stayed, untouched forever more, at the back of my wardrobe until I moved out.

My Wicked Willy board game could well still be at my dad's to this very day, unless he's handed it in for the church jumble sale.

Yes i remember these. I got my dad one for fathers day once. He had some sort of funny phrase written on his "chest", a sticky out red nose and a blue hat on. It was quite a solid toy cos i used to hit my brother with it a lot lol. and i definitely had a string hook on its head.
