US Sitcom starring Barbara Eden as Stella Johnson, single mother to teenager Dee Johnson. It told a story about the adventures of this family in a fictional town in Ohio. Stella was a liberated woman, much to the disapproval of the other town residents, she continued to fight against others' hyprocracy by doing exactly what she pleased and shocking them by her actions. Very comical sitcom. The sitcom ran for two seasons from 1981-1982, it was based on the 1978 movie of the same name. The TV series started out as Harper Valley, PTA but dropped the "PTA" after episode 14. Other cast members included Fannie Flag, George Gobel, Jenn Thompson & Bridget Hanley to name a few.
