A western series where a widower and his three children leave behind their life in 1842 Illinois to head west in search of a new life in the wilderness. By joining a wagon train, they come across a variety of bad weather, hardship and unfriendly people. Starred Rod Taylor (Widower Evan Thorpe) and Andrew Stevens, Tony Becker and Gina Marie Smika (Thorpe's children). There were 14 episodes produced but only 6 were aired during 1977. The DVD box set was released in 2010 by Timeless Media Group (TMG) and shows all the episodes including the feature-length pilot.
