Default 70's childrens show about the crusades?

Hi all, my first time posting.
I remember a tv series, the usual bbc summer holidays sort of thing. I remember it being on the same sort of time as flashing blade. It may have been dubbed also.

I always remember it being called "The last Crusade" but that is possibly wrong.

    Anyone remember it?

    Cheers

Thanks for the reply Huggie, no it definitely wasn't the Tinderbox. But I do remember it.

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Flashing_Blade

"Several cast members from The Flashing Blade appeared in similar serialised action productions for French children's TV. Desert Crusader was virtually identical to The Flashing Blade but set in 12th century Palestine during the Third Crusade. "

Dunno if this has ever been seen on UK TV. Could it be what you saw?

Is Thibaud the same show as Desert Crusader? Different name in translation, maybe? Or two different shows.

I don't really know tbh....all I do know is remembering watching it around 1971/2 and not ever knowing the name of the programme. Two years ago I came across Thibauld and knew instantly that was the show i used to watch.

Sorry few years late but I have just come across this post having just watched a film that made me think about 'The Flashing Blade" which then made me think of some programme called something like "The Crusades" so I found you digging around on Google. I have found this which seems to be the thing I remember. https://youtu.be/qnEmSS5oyY8 Also: http://testtransmissionarchive.blogs...-crusader.html Interesting reading, hey? I absolutely LOVED both of these TV shows.
