hi all..my mum used to have these AS PART OF A CALORIE CONTROLED DIET!.might as well have eaten opal fruits...if anyones got a pic of the box. it would be much appreciated.

I don't have a picture of the box, but I used to eat them for dieting in the early 70s. The idea was that they killed your appetite so you wouldn't eat so much. Sort of worked in a way, because what you were really doing was giving yourself a massive sugar rush and after that who wanted to eat a lot of salad? Funny!

I remember an ad for these was featured on Ads Infunitum, possibly one of the later ones when the spellin was changed to Ayds.
