  • sweets chocolate and ice lollies

Think of all the different types of sweets and chocolate and ice cream that you don't see anymore.

I use to love a chocolate bar called mint cracknel it tasted sort of like the new cadburys bar that has mint chips in only much better.

What happened to the big jubblies in summer you use to get?

I used to love Mint Cracknels, the inside was like glass shards!
    Some more childhood favourites:

Pink Panther bars (sickly strawberry-flavoured chocolate)
    Sweet Tobacco (sugar-coated coconut)
Cadbury's Old Jamaica (rum & raisin chocolate bar)
Cadbury's Country Style (raisin & biscuit chocolate in a pink gingham-coloured wrapper)

And does anyone remember Blobs - a tube of boiled sweets that came in different flavours. (the only ones I can recall are strawberries and cream, fizzy cider and toffee apple!)

CABANNA Bars - the chocolate bar with the taste of 'was it Jamaica or Paradice?' they were very tasty.

I am sure that every one knows about 'Caramac Bars' but gone are the days they used to be priced as 'What can you get with 5p, you can get a Caramac Bar, a piece for you & you' or the hugh bar at 10p, these are now 40p (INFLATION?)

                        Tab Clear? yep
I remember the original Tab in the purple/pink tin, loved it although it was rather synthetic tasting (due to an early version of nutrasweet in it).
I also recall a drink called "One Cal", a diet soda

                          Hi,
does anyone remember a peach soft drink called "Russian", sold during the 1970's or very early 80's. Sold in a small glass bottle, was really nice, then just disappeared from the shelves
